BEING PART OF BCC

What is expected of a member?

BCC is a members' Club. The Constitution and Byelaws expect members to contribute to Club life, help with the work needed to run the Club and take an active part in its activities.

01

Work Parties

Take your fair share of work and routine duties. The Club carries out much of its own maintenance and work parties are held on around 10 Saturdays each year. Jobs may sometimes be arranged at another suitable time.

02

Friday Nights

Take an active part in Club life, including Friday bar evenings. The bar is open on Fridays from 7pm.

03

Club Social Events

Members are expected to take a full part in Club activities, including social events. The bar also opens on occasional Saturdays throughout the summer.

04

Club Communication

Respond to WhatsApp or other requests from the Committee and keep the Club supplied with up-to-date contact details.

05

Courtesy & Club Life

Act in a friendly and courteous manner towards members and visitors and help promote friendship and harmony within the Club.

06

Know the Rules

Members are expected to read, accept and comply with the Club Constitution, Byelaws and relevant mooring conditions.

BEFORE YOU REQUEST MEMBERSHIP

Make sure BCC is right for you

BCC membership is more than access to the Clubhouse or a mooring. Members share responsibility for supporting the Club, taking part and helping maintain the friendly, active Club community.

All persons applying for membership are deemed to have read and accepted the Constitution and Byelaws.
