The members
Members are at the heart of BCC, taking part in Club life and helping to look after the facilities and site.
Broxbourne Cruising Club promotes pleasure cruising and social activities, friendship, safety and the inland waterways, while providing social facilities and berthing for its members.
BCC is a members' cruising club based at Green Lane, Broxbourne. Membership is open to people who are interested in boating and in supporting the objectives of the Club, whether or not they own a boat.
Alongside the moorings and cruising side of BCC, the Club has an active social side. Members are encouraged to take part in Friday nights, Club social events, cruises and working parties.
Broxbourne Cruising Club is managed through its Management Committee. Full Members have voting rights and can take part in the formal running of the Club in accordance with the Constitution.

The Management Committee deals with the management of Club business and the day-to-day running of BCC.
Full Members can attend and vote at General Meetings, providing a formal voice in the running of the Club.
The Committee helps manage the Club and its activities, supported by members who give their time to different areas of Club life.






BCC has always relied on members taking an active part. That isn't limited to boating: the social side of the Club and looking after the site are important too.
Friday nights and Club social events are opportunities to meet and spend time with other members.
Members can take part in Club cruises and enjoy the waterways together.
Working parties help maintain and improve the grounds, moorings and shared facilities.
The Constitution sets out how the Club is managed and how Full Members participate in its formal decisions.
